COVID Symptoms: Keeping Sick Child Home

Medical Evaluation and Testing are Strongly Recommended for ALL Persons with COVID-Like Symptoms. I Please keep your child home if he exhibits ANY of these symptoms: Fever (100.4°F or higher), new onset of moderate to severe headache, shortness of breath, new cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, new loss of sense of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, muscle or body aches from unknown cause. I To retun to school, please present the following; 1. Negative COVID19 Test, OR I 2. Alternative Diagnosis document from your healthcare provider stating "there is no clinical suspicion for COVID19"


If you choose not to test, your child will have to stay home for 10 days from onset of symptoms. Student with positive result may return to school once the following are met: I 1. 10 days out from the start of the symptoms, AND 2. Fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication, AND 3. Symptoms have improved. Siblings: Please keep all siblings home. If the sick child's COVID result is negative, siblings may return to school. You will need to follow the same guidelines if siblings show the same symptoms.
