In preparation for the IOWA Assessment, we will be celebrating Spirit Week during the week of March 6. The following activities will help kick off the week and build student motivation. School Spirit Week is also a lot of fun, so be creative! Even though the Uniform Policy requirement will be waived, please be reminded that students must dress Islamically appropriate. Students choosing not to participate in spirit week should come to school in regular school uniform.

The Scripps National Spelling Bee is the nation's largest and longest-running educational program. The purpose of the Scripps National Spelling Bee is to help students improve spelling, increase their vocabulary, learn concepts and develop correct English usage that will help them all of their lives. Visit spellingbee.com for more information about the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which is administered on a not-for-profit basis by The E.W. Scripps Company. In order to compete at the national level, students must qualify locally which is normally sponsored by Peoria Journal Star. We would like to give our students this opportunity! On December 5, in-class classroom spelling bees (written spelling test) will be held in grades 1st-8th.

The 2021-22 Final Report Card for 1st Grade – High School is available now on QuickSchools. Report cards for the preschools and kindergarten students have been sent out in their folder. We are also sending the IOWA Assessments score to all students in 1st through 8th Grade.
