The 3rd Grade Class Bake Sale will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2020 during Lunch A and Lunch B, from 11:15AM-12:39PM. Please make sure to send cash in an envelope or ziploc labeled with your child's name and grade level if you would like them to purchase items from the bake sale. Lunch items are: pizza, pasta, and mac n cheese. Sweets and savories items are: samosas, zatar bread, chips, cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, and many more. Thank you for your support. We are excited to announce that the fencing class will start again on March 3rd for both new and returning students. The class will be conducted by coaches from "Peoria Fencing Academy." Registration is now open for students in 1st to 8th grades and it's due no later than Friday, Feb 28th. We have limited number of spots available. The registration will be processed on first-come, first-served basis. Please complete the attached registration form and submit with the fee.

For the past 20 years, the Department of Civil Engineering and Construction at Bradley University hosts the yearly Bridge-Pal competition, a balsa-bridge-building contest open to area middle and high school students and designed to "foster an interest in engineering among area middle and high school students and help (Bradley ECE) students understand the value of good citizenship and service". As part of the contest, students (in groups of up to four) design their own bridge to meet specific criteria, meet with a Bradley CEC student to discuss their design and perform a computerized stress analysis of it, and then construct it over a period of 3 months.
