Curriculum
DUQA program is divided into three phases.
Phase 0 (optional): Focus on clear pronunciation of letters
| Reading - Beginners Mon-Thu 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM |
Clear pronunciation of all the letters |
| Clear and proper recitation of Juz 30 (If time permits, memorize part of Juz 30) | |
| Focus is on Nooraaniyyah | |
| Spend as much time on perfecting the pronunciation of the letters before doing anything else | |
| Two or more books will be provided to assist the teacher reach the class’ goal |
| Reading-Advanced Mon-Thu 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM |
Continue perfection of pronunciation of all the letters |
| Continue focusing on clear and proper recitation of Juz 30 (If time permits, finish memorization of Juz 30) | |
| Recite Juz 29 | |
| Continue focus on Nooraaniyyah (Tajweed portion of it) | |

Phase I: Focus on Fluency of recitation, and basic rules Tajweed

| Level 3 (Year 3): Mon-Thu 3:30 PM to 5:45 PM |

Phase II: Focuses on Basic and Intermediate rules of Tajweed, and complete memorizing quran
| Level 4,5,6: Mon-Thu 3:30 PM to 5:45 PM |
Fluency of recitation. Can recite from anywhere in the Quran without any help |
| Basic & Intermediate rules of Tajweed are taught and perfected (النون الساكنة والتنوين، الميم الساكنة، القلقلة، النون والميم المشدّدتان، المدود ، مخارج الحروف) | |
| Minimum 1 page per day memorization. Exceptions might apply | |
| Students recite at different levels | |
| Retention plan for previously memorized Juz (example 29 & 30) as part of weekend work. The same of the whole semester |
Certification
After completeting the whole Quran with minumum of 80% passing grade, a Quran Memorization Completion Certificate will be awarded to the student
After receiving "Quran Memorization Completion Certificate", student will be awarded Haafidh Certificate when they pass recitation test from 15 different locations from the Quran with ZERO mistakes
